WE GATHER FOR WORSHIP, AS WE WERE CREATED TO DO
Dear Southport Church,
Our leadership team met this last week and we assessed the prospect of the recent removal of the stay at home order in Yolo County. We have felt a leading amongst us that it is the time to gather again in our Church building despite the matrix of guidelines that leave us one step away from so. We share this with excitement as well as full of compassion for the many views and realities of our congregation.
We will continue to offer our Online service as we have developed, but now are asking those who are comfortable to return to our Sanctuary with our COVID guidelines still in effect to come home for the first time this year on January 31st at 10am.
We make this decision realizing that there are many who are demonstrating day-to-day activities that are similar to what we experience in a service, while not turning a blind eye to those who only have the option of virtual community.
Please see this as our best foot forward in taking steps back to establishing a new normal in our lives as a Church family.
Myself, Pastor Ricardo, and our Stewards (Chris and Bob) are available to speak with you, pray with you, and answer any questions that this brings up. Message us by clicking the button below.
We cannot wait to see you in person and to hopefully bring more of what we love of our Church into a reality, physically, on a weekly basis.
Keep Looking Up!
Pastor Micah Moreno
